• Adolescents between the ages of age 12-18.
• Adolescents who have a Primary Psychiatric Illness, including but not limited to depression, mood disorders, anxiety, post traumatic stress, psychosis, medical issues complicated by a psychiatric disorder and drug or alcohol related issues associated with a primary psychiatric disorder.
• Adolescents who are assessed as intellectually, cognitively, and emotionally able to benefit from residential treatment.
• Adolescents that have not responded to other intensive therapeutic interventions such as out patient care or acute hospitalizations.
• Adolescents that have emotional, mental, or behavioral problems that cannot be adequately treated in the existing home or school environment.

Adolescents who present with severe sexual disorders, moderate mental retardation, fire starting or primary diagnosis of Reactive Attachment Disorder.
