Our main goal is for residents to experience success while maintaining their current grade level.
While in our care, patients attend Teton Peaks Academy and earn credits toward graduation in their respective state school districts.
The school operates on an eight-week block system. Patients earn one semester academic credit for 70 hours of class time. We employ two teachers with secondary Idaho teaching certificates who teach state-approved curriculum.
Individual Education Plan (IEP) services are provided by a teacher certified in special education. They
make modifications to IEP goals as needed, and then implement them in the classroom.
Teton Peaks Academy is an accredited State of Idaho Alternative School associated with Lincoln Alternative High School within the boundaries of Bonneville School District # 93.
